Faster Greta Is a tribute to a kind -hearted Sami woman named Greta from Tärnaby. Greta is aunt to Hikki's founder Per Enoksson. She baked the tastiest thin breads can be imagined in the cabin's wood stove and invite passers -by along with a cup of coffee. Here we share her Kakun recipes.
Faster Gretas Kakun - soft Sami thin bread
2 packages of yeast
1 liter of liquid - 0.5 liters of water and 0.5 liters of milk electricity. file
50-100 grams of margarine
0.5 package wheat flour
0.5 deciliters of syrup
0.5 teaspoon of deer salt
The yeast is stirred out in the liquid. Add the other ingredients. Mix in wheat flour last.
The dough should be loose and thus difficult to bake so be patient. Allow to ferment for 30-40 minutes. Use a lot of flour when baking out the dough. Brush with bread soup. The dough must not be processed for too long. Chop the nice round Kakun before sending them in the oven at 300 degree heat. If you bake in a regular oven, it should first be baked on the bottom of the oven and then on the upper plate. When you bake in Faster Greta You bake on the hob. The bread should have a small and golden brown surface and prepare an enjoyable chew resistance.
Greta's Kakun is the finest Kakun found in the Tärna parish and its surroundings. And many walks and women who have been honored this deliciousness let the story of Greta and her fantastic Kakun live on in all infinity.
Peace over her memory.
