This privacy policy describes how your personal information is collected, processed, shared and stored by Hikki - the data controller of the mentioned data, when you visit or place an order from our website at hikki.se, when you interact with our pages on other platforms such as, but not limited to, Instagram/Facebook/YouTube/Shopify, when you open and/or click on our email campaigns, or when you fill out forms in our app used at trade fairs and other physical sales channels.

Your device information, order information, user data and form data are referred to below as your "personal information".

Personal information we collect via the Hikki.se website

When you visit the website hikki.se and all its subpages, we automatically collect information about your browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies saved on your device. As you navigate the website, we record information about which subpages (product pages, blog posts, general pages, etc.) you visit, as well as search terms or other websites that referred you to Hikki's website. We refer to this as "device information". We also save data you provide in forms.

We collect device information through the following technologies:

In addition to the above data and technologies, all data you enter on the website during purchase is stored - name, address(es), phone number, email address, payment information (excluding payment card information as that data is handled by Klarna or Shopify Payments) and shopping cart data. We refer to this data as "order information". Data is also stored if you attempt to complete a purchase on the site but are denied for any reason - technical issues, insufficient creditworthiness, etc. We use Shopify as our e-commerce platform. The personal data we collect and share with our mentioned partners is used to provide you support regarding payment or shipping, send administrative information about the same, and create relevant marketing for you.

Personal information we collect via digital forms at trade fairs and other physical channels

We collect your name, phone number (if provided) and email address. This data is automatically shared with our CRM system PipeDrive CRM, our e-commerce platform Shopify, and our email marketing platform OmniSend.

Personal information we collect via campaign emails

When you open and/or click links in our campaign emails, we save information and time stamps for each open and link click, as well as which page or file those link clicks go to.

Third parties

Parts or all of your personal information may be shared with the service providers we use - currently these include, but others may be added: Google, Fortnox, Facebook, Microsoft, PipeDrive, Shopify, Omnisend, Instagram, MailChimp, Klarna, PayPal & Dreamlogistics, but only to the extent required to use the service provider's products appropriately.

How we use your personal information

Order information - this data is used to process and deliver your order (and any returns). Your data is automatically shared with our logistics and payment processing partners when you make a purchase - typically Klarna for credit or debit card purchases within Sweden, PayPal for invoice purchases abroad, and Dreamlogistics for third-party logistics and their specific subcontractors/freight forwarders who handle your delivery - typically DHL, Schenker or PostNord, depending on product and destination. Order information is also shared with Fortnox who keeps records and manages our sales.

Device information - we use device information to monitor potential risks and fraud in orders, and as a general basis for how we should improve the site and its content to make it more relevant to you. Certain device information may be used to target our advertising to you on Facebook, Instagram and other websites through Google's advertising platform.

Form information - we use the form data you provided when you visited us at a trade fair or through another physical sales channel specifically to send you campaigns via email and any follow-up via phone.

We use your personal information to send you relevant marketing through campaign emails, SMS, distribution of catalogs and other printed marketing, and follow-up via phone.

Finally, we may also need to share your personal information in the event of any dispute or other legal proceedings, in accordance with Swedish and EU law.

We store all data indefinitely unless otherwise specified. This privacy policy and other terms may be updated if there are changes in conditions, delivery times, warranty adjustments, etc. You can contact us at any time to have your personal information deleted from our systems.

Your rights

As a European citizen, you have the right to access your personal information we have collected, and to have it corrected, updated or deleted - if so, contact us via email, phone or letter.
