Bohemen is a wood-fired outdoor bathtub. The tub is aluminium, the interior is oak. The stove is built into one end and burns ordinary firewood. The smoke leaves through the chimney. No electricity, no pumps, no lights. Wood, water and a little time.
It holds two adults, or two adults and two children if you squeeze up. The water stays warm for several hours after the fire has burned down.

What is the bathtub in Married at First Sight Sweden called?
It is called Bohemen and it is made by Hikki in Sweden. It is the same model we sell here, not a one-off built for television.
Is it a tub in steel, zinc, stainless or aluminium?

How is it heated? There is a chimney on it.
With firewood. The stove is built into one end of the tub and the chimney carries the smoke away. You fill the tub with water, light a fire and wait. No electricity or plumbing needed.
How long does it take to heat?

How many people fit?
Two adults sit comfortably, facing each other or side by side. Two adults and two children works too. The tub is 212 centimetres long and 92 wide, and holds 600 litres of water.
Do you need a forest? Can it stand on a deck?
The forest was the production's idea. Bohemen stands just as well on a deck, a lawn or a paved yard. The ground needs to be level and carry the weight of 600 litres of water plus the bathers. The chimney needs clear space above it, and you never light the stove under a roof.
Can you bathe in winter?
Yes. Bohemen is made for year-round use. It takes an hour longer to heat below freezing, and you empty the tub after the bath so nothing freezes.
Can you bathe cold in summer, without lighting the stove?
Yes. Fill it with cold water and get in. Many people use Bohemen for cold bathing in summer and hot bathing the rest of the year.
What does it cost and where do you buy it?
